In the past few year, I've read a lot  of romance fiction. My favorite authors are:

* Suzanne Brockmann: the Navy Seals books are great
* Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake vampire novels: enough said
* Kim Harrison's vampire books are thoroughly entertaining
* Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire novels are quirky and fun
* Mary Balogh's Regency Novels
* Jennifer Crusie's sense of humor shines in her novels
* Lisa Jackson's suspense-filled novels are a favorite
* Stephanie Lauren's Regency-style romances have the hottest love scenes full of sensation and pleasure

Favorite Movies

1. All-time number one movie is 'The Year of Living Dangerously' with Mel Gibson and Sigourney Weaver - the smouldering looks are awesome.
2. 'Moonlighting' with Cher and Nicolas Cage - Cher is fabulous in this movie and who can resist Nicolas Cage?
3. 'Last of the Mohicans' with Daniel Day Lewis - need I say anything more than 'running'?
4. 'True Lies' with Arny and Jamie Lee Curtis - literally a blast
5. Lord of the Rings (The Fellowship of the Ring and the Return of the King) - Viggo Mortensen is HOT all scruffy

Favorite Poem

When I was living in Australia, working as a youth hostel manager in Sydney, I came across a young man by the name of Harry Desai. He gave me a poem, written on the back of an envelope. I still have the envelope, which is now tattered and worn. To this day, I have not been able to discover whether he wrote this or not.

Go not yet away from me

A daybreak sun have you been in my darkest hour

And your cloudless eyes have given me dreams to dream

And your shadow has been a light upon my face

Much have I loved you

But unspoken was my love

Yet now it would cry aloud

And stand revealed

Before you

For ever has it been

That love knows not

Its own depth

Until the hour

Of separation…
